Volunteer
Volunteers play an integral role in the success and growth of our organization, which now serves close to 2,000 Boston Public School students across 22 locations throughout the city! Due to the nature of our work within the Boston Public Schools, all volunteers will be subject to a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) check. A BMP representative will contact you to initiate the CORI check upon your application to our volunteer program. Currently, we are looking for volunteers for the following tasks: • In-school classroom assistance - Working with the teachers and students on projects like our Paper Orchestra • Special Events and Fundraising - Sponsor & Auction donation solicitation - Pre-event preparation - Day-of event ■ Set up/Break down ■ Transporting items ■ Registration/Check-in ■ Raffle ticket sales/Auction ■ Greeter • Office Administration - Mailings etc. Please click the button below to fill out our Volunteer Interest Form. Someone will contact you once you have completed the form to initiate a CORI check and to discuss upcoming volunteer opportunities.
