Professional Jazz & Contemporary

Music & Movement
Get ready to groove, giggle, and grow! Our Music and Movement Classes are designed for youth ages 2-8 and their caregivers to explore the joy of music together. From sing-alongs and rhythm games to creative movement and playful percussion, these sessions are the perfect blend of fun and learning. $85 for hour for 1 instructor to lead a group of up to 15 youth. We feature BMP teaching artists and advanced youth for professional performances. BMP is proud to have an exceptional team of 47 musicians with diverse backgrounds in teaching and performance experiences that reflect the students and communities we serve. All of the musicians are Boston-based, building active performance careers in the city. Ensembles include classical, jazz, and bluegrass string trios and quartets, hip-hop strings, and New Orleans brass band.
