Music & Movement and Instrument Petting Zoo

Get ready to groove, giggle, and grow! Our Music and Movement Classes are designed for youth ages 2-8 and their caregivers to explore the joy of music together. From sing-alongs and rhythm games to creative movement and playful percussion, these sessions are the perfect blend of fun and learning. $85 for hour for 1 instructor to lead a group of up to 15 youth. Additional teaching artists can be hired to support larger groups.
Our instrument petting zoo is a great addition to Music and Movement classes! This interactive experience lets children explore and play a variety of instruments with guidance from our talented Teaching Artists.

We feature BMP teaching artists and advanced youth for professional performances. BMP is proud to have an exceptional team of 47 musicians with diverse backgrounds in teaching and performance experiences that reflect the students and communities we serve. All of the musicians are Boston-based, building active performance careers in the city. Ensembles include classical, jazz, and bluegrass string trios and quartets, hip-hop strings, and New Orleans brass band.
