Mayor Martin J. Walsh and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will host the 20th Annual Neighborhood Coffee Hour Series in local parks citywide. Neighborhood Coffee Hours give residents a unique opportunity to speak directly with Mayor Walsh and staff from City departments. This May, the Mayor invited our young musicians from our Boulanger Orchestra to perform for his coffee hour for Chinatown/Bay-Village in our very own Elliot Norton Park.
Guests of the event enjoyed free coffee and breakfast treats provided by Dunkin' Donuts, as well as fresh fruit from Star Market. Our musicians performed selections from 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Simple Gifts' and had some time to meet with the Mayor and City Councilman Ed Flynn.
