The Boston Music Project's Sibelius Orchestra took to the main stage at HUBweek's Future Leaders Days on October 14th in Boston's City Hall Plaza.
Our fearless group of 2nd and 3rd grade musicians shared with the audience the various instruments in their orchestra, demonstrated their steps for learning and playing musical scales, and performed their variations on "Frere Jacques" for a crowd of HUBweek attendees, families, and young people. After their performance, they took to City Hall Plaza for an instrument petting zoo. There, BMP youth musicians had the opportunity to teach fellow young people attending HUBweek how to play a violin and cello.
