Private Lessons

Private music lessons provide one-on-one instruction that is tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.

 

We offer one-semester or two-semester packages for weekly consecutive lessons that follow the BPS calendar. Lessons begin in October 2024 and end on June 30, 2025. Register below!

Program Highlights

  • Youth and Adults are welcome to enroll!

  • Develop technique & musical skills on your instrument

  • String instrument rental available

  • In-Person or Virtual Option

  • Current private lesson offerings include:

    • Violin

    • Viola

    • Cello

    • Double Bass

    • Electric or Bass Guitar

    • Piano

    • Trumpet

School-Year Lesson Rates 

  • 30-minute Virtual or In-Person

    • $600 for Fall semester ONLY (12 weeks)

    • $1,600 for two semesters (32 weeks total)

  • 60-min lessons

    • $960 for Fall semester ONLY (12 weeks)

    • $2,560 for two semesters (32 weeks total)

  • $45 Registration fee

  • Tuesday through Friday, 4-7pm at Josiah Quincy Elementary or The Record Co.
     

Instrument rental + Insurance

  • ​$50 one-time rental fee*

  • Rental fee includes instrument insurance

*Instrument rentals are included for any students enrolled in our before, after, and in-school programs

Hill House

Hill House hosts Boston Music Project for private music instruction for aspiring young musicians at 127 Mount Vernon Street location. Strings, piano, guitar, and voice lessons will be taught by the talented Boston Music Project's team.

 

This partnership opens the doors to more community performances, city-wide block party, collaborations with professional artists, summer youth music programs and more. Hill House is excited to be the 24th BMP teaching location across Greater Boston.
